Best BBQ I have had since Texas. BBQ sauce has a great level of heat, brisket like butter with perfect crisp ends, ribs tender juicy… Gouda mac… need I say more? Lovely staff, I almost walked out with my makeshift paper bib and the server nicely asked to take it before walking out with it still on. Southern charm level. No frills means it’s good y’all!

This is the best BBQ you will find in Illinois. I’m a veteran of good Q. I’ve spent time in Lockhart and Luling Texas, home to the world’s best BBQ restaurants; Kreuz, Smitty’s, Blacks, City Market, etc. I’ve also spent time in Memphis, North Carolina and Kansas City. My husband drags me to BBQ restraunts every chance he gets. I cringe everytime he says he has a new BBQ place he wants to try. Most are overcooked and dry.
